Unless you're flying (or swimming) you'll need to take a ferry from Vancouver - either from Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen, to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island - and then a second, short ferry ride from the Nanaimo Harbour at 160 Front Street to Gabriola Island.

Although the ferry from Nanaimo to Gabriola doesn't accept reservations, we recommend that you make a ferry reservation for the trip between Vancouver and Nanaimo during the summer.

Once on Gabriola Island, we are a 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal. Simply follow South Road for about 12 KM, then turn right on Price Road and turn right again on Islands View Drive.

You can fly to Nanaimo from the Vancouver International Airport or from downtown Vancouver. In addition, Tofino Air operates a float plane service between Vancouver International Airport and Silva Bay on Gabriola Island.
